Cats only, in Oklahoma City, since 2008

A room of her own, and not one dog in the building

Aristocats Hotel & Spa is an all suites boarding hotel and grooming salon for cats, and only cats. No barking down the corridor, no dog smell in the air, and a Certified Feline Master Groomer on site five days a week.

The suites

Every door has a name on it

Catzumel, Bahamouse, Kitty Largo, Waikittykitty, Meowtle Beach. Forty rooms, each one named for somewhere warm, because a boarding stay should read like a vacation rather than a stint in a kennel. Guests notice, and so do the reviews.

Accommodation

Garden rooms have a window. Standard rooms are the quiet ones.

A Garden Room is 4 by 6 feet with a window to watch, at $30 a night. A Standard Room is the same size without the window, at $25. Two rooms at 6 by 6 feet and one at 5 by 6 are kept for families of three cats or more, because littermates settle faster together than apart.

From a Google review

“The Kitties are much more comfortable and less stressed at this Cats Only boarding facility. The staff really loves cats, and it’s adorable that each ‘suite’ has a cute cat-ish name.”

The questions we get asked most

No. Aristocats is a cat only boarding facility, so your kitty receives a quiet, calm, dog-free environment. Cats are more relaxed and comfortable without the sight, sound, and smell of dogs, especially cats that aren't used to them.

Overnight boarding is $25 per night in a suite without a window, or $30 per night in a suite with a window, for a single cat. An additional cat in the same suite is $12 per night, and three or more cats in the same suite are $10 per cat, per night. Day care is $18 per day, or $6 per day for an additional cat.

All cats must be currently vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP, and we need a copy of the vaccination records for their file. If fleas are detected during the stay, an Advantage application is applied at the owner's expense.

No. Our groomer is a Certified Feline Master Groomer and a member of the National Cat Groomers Institute, and works with cats that don't require sedation for grooming. Many vet clinics automatically sedate every cat that comes in, especially those that need shaving. Grooming services are available Monday through Friday only.

Yes, and we'd encourage it. Bring their regular food in the original bag or a sealed labeled container, and we'll serve it in sanitary stainless steel dishware. If you'd rather not, we can substitute the premium dry food we feed our own pets. Filtered water fountains are available as an amenity for $8 per stay.

Yes. Only cats from the same family are allowed to mingle. We have several 6' x 6' and 5' x 6' rooms specifically for three or more cats from one household.

Each suite is cleaned daily, hard surfaces are disinfected and soiled bedding is cleaned. Litter boxes, scoops and food and water bowls are specific to each suite and are thoroughly disinfected with a mild bleach solution between every guest's stay. Litter is scooped several times daily, and soft surfaces like cat trees, beds and blankets are cleaned or laundered between guests, or weekly for long-term guests.

We've added an 8x10 storm shelter and a full building backup generator, and the building has 24/7 electronic security. If a cat shows the first sign of illness we contact your emergency contact, and in an emergency we make every effort to reach your own veterinarian before calling ours.

More detail on vaccinations, drop off times and what to bring is on plan your stay.
